The Renault Modus and Grand Modus small MPV’s have been replaced in 2013 by the Renault Captur small crossover.
Renault Modus Overview
The Renault Modus is a compact minivan manufactured by the French automaker Renault from 2004 to 2012. It was based on the Renault Clio III platform and was available in two body styles: five-door hatchback and Grand Modus, a longer version with seven seats. The Modus was available with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. It was also available with a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The Modus had a top speed of 118 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 13.5 seconds. It was available with a variety of features, including a touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, and a parking assist system. The Renault Modus was a direct rival to the Ford Focus C-Max, Opel Meriva, and Citro"en C3 Picasso. The Renault Modus was discontinued in 2012. It was replaced by the Renault Captur.
Renault Modus Sales Figures
The Renault Modus was a popular car in Europe, but it was not as successful in the United States. The Modus was discontinued in the United States in 2007 due to poor sales.
