The Toyota Frontlander is a compact crossover SUV that is based on the Toyota TNGA-C platform and will be powered by a hybrid powertrain. The Frontlander is available in two trims: LE and XLE. The LE is the base trim and comes standard with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system. The XLE trim adds features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a JBL sound system, and heated front seats.

All Frontlanders are powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. The total system output is 203 horsepower. The Frontlander is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It gets an EPA-estimated 34 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway.
