Lincoln U.S Sales Figures & Recent Highlights
In 2018, Ford announced that they still remain as the best-selling automobile manufacturer in Canada, after reporting increased overall sales for all their vehicles. This means that Lincoln sales has gone up too. Ford reported that the overall sales of their Lincoln MKT has increased 71 percent while the the all-new Lincoln Navigator saw a sales increase of 45 percent. With the new Navigator and Aviator SUVs getting lots of praise from the press for their styling and content, we expect Lincoln to continue to increase it sales over the next couple of years.
Lincoln Canada sales have been declining in recent years. In 2020, Lincoln Canada sales were 12,000 units. In 2021, Lincoln Canada sales fell to 10,500 units. And in 2022, Lincoln Canada sales fell further to 9,000 units. The company has a strong brand image and a loyal customer base. Lincoln is also investing in new models, such as the Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring PHEV, which could help to boost sales in the future.

With the new MKC launching in Oct, Lincoln sales should take a sales spike in 4th quarter.

Only if a nicer version of the cheaper Ford version has enough additional content to merit the higher retail.
History shows that even if Ford can build 4 models on the same line, customers are more concerned about value for their dollar. And small lincolns aren't viewed as high value according to sales.
