The third Generation in 2010 marked a significant shift for the Optima. With design overseen by Peter Schreyer, Kia’s design head at the time, the new Optima showcased a dramatic, sporty design that garnered widespread attention and praise. 2015’s fourth generation built on the success of the previous generation, the fourth-gen Optima featured even more refined styling, improved interiors, and advanced technology features.

From the third generation onwards, the Optima’s design became one of its standout features, characterized by its sleek profile, distinctive front grille, and stylish lighting elements.
