The Alpina B3/D3

The Alpina B3S and D3 are based on the BMW 3-series, and made on the same production line, but according to Alpina specifications. The diesel-powered Alpina D3 was first introduced in 2005, based on the 3-series E90 generation. The current Alpina B3S is available as sedan and Touring station wagon, based on the BMW 3-series. It is powered by a 3 liter straight-six Bi-Turbo petrol engine with 440 horsepower and 660 NM (489 ft-lb) of torque and both are available with optional All Wheel Drive.
