2019 US Auto Sales Figures – By Model (All Vehicle Ranked)

2019 U.S. Vehicle Sales Rankings – Every Vehicle Ranked By Sales Volume

When you look at all of the individual models sold you can see that in the month of December the majority of models on sale saw sales drop when compared with December of 2018. When you look at the year-end sales stats, it’s not quite as dramatic. However, sales appear down overall.

It should come as no surprise that Ford’s F-Series pickup truck led the pack in terms of overall sales. It was followed by the Ram Pickup which has made significant gains this year. In third place, is the Chevrolet Silverado which saw sales decline this year. Ram still has a long way to go before it catches Ford, but it actually made up quite a lot of ground this year.

Overall sales for the models on sale this year are down. Cars saw the biggest drop in sales, with more people opting for crossovers and SUVs. This doesn’t bode well for the industry as we enter 2020. It will be interesting to see how things pan out. We expect them to continue on the downward path that they’re currently on with SUVs and crossovers continuing to sell strongly in 2020.

Note: FCA US LLC will end its practice of reporting U.S. and Canada sales on a monthly basis following June results. FCA US and FCA Canada will report monthly sales for May and June. The first quarterly report will occur on October 1, 2019, covering the months of July, August, and September.
