2010 U.S. Automotive Sales by Automaker – The Best-Selling Automotive Manufacturers By Sales Volume

Even after undergoing bankruptcy in 2009, GM remained a dominant force in the U.S. market in 2010. Brands under GM during this time included Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, and Buick. The Ford Motor Company did not file for bankruptcy during the financial crisis and had a strong performance in 2010, with models like the Ford F-Series truck and the Ford Fusion being particularly popular. Toyota faced challenges in 2010, notably a large-scale recall that year. However, it remained one of the best-selling brands in the U.S., with vehicles like the Camry and Corolla continuing to perform well in sales. Another prominent Japanese manufacturer in the U.S. market, with popular models such as the Accord and Civic. Despite its own financial struggles and eventual bankruptcy and alliance with Fiat, Chrysler still maintained significant sales in the U.S. in 2010. The brands under Chrysler included Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and later on, Ram.
